Some of My Favorite Links

Bat conservation is a subject dear to my heart.  I have space for only a few links and there are so many great bat pages out there, so I have listed the four that I feel are most relevant to me or to the people who might view this site.  And remember:  Bats are NOT flying rodents!

I also have met many wonderful and talented people through using the computer and I want to share some of their photographic talents with you.  So, please enjoy the web links below.  I will change some of them out periodically....so much talent out there, so little link space!

Bat Conservation Sites
Organization for Bat Conservation A bat conservation organization based in Michigan.  They are a good resource for bat houses and ideas for bat management in your community, or just in your own yard.
Bat Conservation International A widely known bat conservation organization based in Texas that is activley involved in research and public education.  Their site is a doorway to many useful resources and bat-themed gifts....for the person who has everything!
The Bat Conservation Society of Canada A Canadian organization that is working to promote bat conservation through educational programs in the Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan areas.  Check them out!
Bat Conservation Trust The UKs version of BCI?  They promote conservation of bats through education, teaching people how to relate to bats, and encouraging research projects into bat ecology and population studies.
